Focused on nurturing and supporting pupils both emotionally and academically, to help ensure they achieve the best possible by providing a dynamic and safe environment where educational and personal goals can be realized for both our pupils and our staff.

The Role

The successful candidate will begin working as soon as possible and will continue to the end of the academic year. They will work term time Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 15:30 working with pupils and supporting them with their daily school life and ensuring to deliver a high standard of education.

As a Teaching Assistant you will

-Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum

-Assist pupils in making progress academically, socially, and personally

-Get to know the pupils and learn how to support them further in the best way possible

-Work in small groups of pupils completing set learning activities

-Support the classroom teacher and work with small groups of pupils

-Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities

The successful candidate:

-Will be enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate

-Will have experience working within an educational setting

-Will have a good command of the English language

-Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities

-Teaching assistant qualifications are also desirable but not essential
