Teaching Assistant - SEN Resource Base, Cardiff
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant SEN Resource Base in Cardiff. This full-time role is initially until Christmas, with the potential to continue for the full academic year. You will be supporting pupils with additional learning needs, making a real difference to their educational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to meet individual learning needs
- Assisting in the delivery of tailored educational activities
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Helping manage challenging behaviour and maintaining a safe, structured environment
- Supporting students with personal care when necessary
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
- Registered with the EWC
- Experience in an SEN setting is preferred
