Teaching Assistant - SEN Resource Base, Cardiff

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant SEN Resource Base in Cardiff. This full-time role is initially until Christmas, with the potential to continue for the full academic year. You will be supporting pupils with additional learning needs, making a real difference to their educational experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to meet individual learning needs
  • Assisting in the delivery of tailored educational activities
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Helping manage challenging behaviour and maintaining a safe, structured environment
  • Supporting students with personal care when necessary

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
  • Registered with the EWC
  • Experience in an SEN setting is preferred
