Teaching Assistant (TA) - Cardiff
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Cardiff for a long-term role starting soon. This is a full-time position, and candidates must meet the following requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assisting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, particularly those with additional needs.
- Helping with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
- Supervising students during activities, both in and outside the classroom.
- Supporting children with their social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements:
- Must have prior experience working as a TA, ideally within a primary school setting.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
- Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
