Key Responsibilities
- Category Management: Develop and implement category strategies that align with the organization's goals, focusing on long-term sustainability and short-term results. Lead market analysis to identify trends and mitigate risks.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the category and fulfillment teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Develop talent through mentorship, training, and succession planning.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline fulfillment processes to ensure efficiency and scalability, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and key suppliers, to align procurement strategies with organizational needs.
- Performance & Risk Management: Ensure category and fulfillment activities align with organizational standards, mitigate risks, and stay ahead of industry trends.
Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive procurement experience in a leadership capacity
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic procurement plans
- Strong supplier relationship management skills
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards
- CIPS qualification or equivalent professional experience
