Description

  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing supplier engagement strategies
  • SME Framework Development - work with stakeholders to map supply chain and attracts SME's compliantly
  • Managing supplier performance and conducting performance reviews
  • Working with Procurement & Supply Chain team to ensure supplier compliance
  • Identifying opportunities for supplier development and innovation
  • Organise and manage Supplier Events
  • Coordinating with internal teams to communicate supplier performance metrics
  • Resolving supplier-related issues and disputes
  • Ensuring all procurement activities are in line with the organisation's objectives

Profile

A successful Supplier Relationship and Engagement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in supplier management and stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Procurement Act 2023 (desirable)
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Experience in Social Partnership and Supplier Assurance
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and policies in the Public Sector
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
