I am on the lookout for a Reactive Repairs Surveyor to join a housing association based in South Wales on a permanent basis. The patch will be covering Carmarthen to Monmouthshire will there only being 300 properties that need looking after!Job title: Reactive Repairs SurveyorSalary: £38,000Contract: Permanent (Hybrid role)Office Location: CardiffResponsibilities of the Reactive Repairs Surveyor:
  • To ensure the provision of day-to-day responsive maintenance services to all homes owned and managed by the Association
  • To contribute to the long-term strategic planning for future maintenance works required to Association homes
  • To manage and monitor the compliance programme and provide performance data for the Board and submission to Welsh Government
  • To assist in improvements to services to maintain innovation, good practice, and value for money
  • To establish a good working relationship with residents through regular scheme visits and repairs inspections

Relevant experience needed for the Reactive Repairs Surveyor:
  • Worked in Wales before and understand the WHQS
  • Experience of undertaking stock condition surveys, maintenance and repairs.
  • Worked within the social housing sector
  • Relevant HNC/HND Degree or equivalent in a construction related subject
