Head of IT Services

Your new companyHays are working with a professional services firm in central Cardiff to support with the recruitment of a new permanent Head of IT services. The role offers a salary up to £60,000pa + benefits and offers hybrid working typically 3 days on site. Your new roleWithin the role you will support the CTO and work with other managers in the team to oversee day to day IT operations maintaining excellent standards of IT service delivery and safeguard the firms IT infrastructure and services. This is a critical role within the function that supports a large group of internal staff members. You'll be involved in managing and mentoring a team of IT professionals (Team lead / manager level) across Service Desk, Service Delivery and IT infrastructure & security. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will need to have proven experience in an IT operations & leadership role, coming from a background ideally in IT service management, IT infrastructure or IT operations. You'll need excellent stakeholder management skills and ideally have a background in the professional services sector.
