About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Senior Content Designer to join our User-Centred Design team to support digital products and services in the Primary, Community and Mental Health directorate. Â
What you'll do
As a Senior Content Designer who is user-centred, you will specialise in making things easy for people to understand and use by designing how content is structured. Using evidence, you will design the content users need at every point in their journey - for example a digital application form, navigation elements, button text, error messages, emails and letters. Â
Putting users' needs at the heart of your work, you will make people's interactions with our products and services as simple as possible.
As a Senior Content Designer you will be responsible for creating, evaluating, updating and reviewing content at all stages of the end-to-end user journey.

We're looking for a Content Designer who:
- has had responsibility for creating, evaluating, updating and reviewing content at all stages of the end-to-end user journey.
- Developed content strategy and solutions, idealy, for large-scale problems and high-profile events.
- Can translate technical data and user stories into content that meets users’ needs, and successfully using a range of design approaches.
- Can visualise and present information and data in an appropriate formatÂ
- Can interact with people, skills to establish relationships, contribute to an open culture and maintain contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines.
- is an effective, approachable and sensitive communicator in different communities and cultures with the ability to adapt style and approach to meet the needs of different audiences.
