Our established client is expanding their workshop facilities within their fast-growing motor dealerships and have a full-time vacancy for an additional workshop technician. ideally experienced, however we welcome candidates at any stage of their technician career.
Duties
- Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work
- Discussing required repairs with customers
- Calculating the expected time and cost of vehicle work
- Repairing or replacing components as required
- Road testing vehicles to test repair work.
- Performing service checks
- Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, as required
- Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
Skills
- Experience as a Motor vehicle technician
- Attention to details.
- Ability to deal with customers.
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Licence/Certification: City & Guilds Automotive (preferred)
- Car driving licence
Standard salary depends on your experience and accreditation, but an experienced candidate can expect to earn 30,000 or more basic salary PLUS a generous OTE bonus making for total potential combined income of over per annum around 50K.
In addition to this, the client is guaranteeing a new starter bonus for the first three months of work while you embed into the role.
Basic hours of work will be five days per week 08:30am to 17:00pm with a half hour unpaid lunch break, and every 3rd Saturday in rotation 08.30pm to 13:00.
The client will provide manufacturer training, a full driving licence is essential to apply for this role.
Salary on offer is basic 30,000 + OTE 50,000 + per year.
