Role Overview:

We are seeking a Bricklaying Lecturer who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality education and training to students. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching bricklaying courses, preparing students to achieve their qualifications under the new Welsh educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in bricklaying.
  • Prepare lesson plans and materials according to the curriculum.
  • Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain records of students' progress and attendance.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and teacher training workshops.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bricklaying and familiarity with the new Welsh Qualifications.
  • A valid teaching qualification.
  • Recent DBS on the update service.
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as an FE Support Worker.
