Have the relevant Finance Transformation experience

Reside in the UK (or have the relevant RTW) 

This is a day rate contract Inside IR35 £600-800 per day DOE lasting min 6 months.

The role:

The Transformation Programme Cost Controller plays a key role in effective delivery across the programme.

In this role your will be  responsible for managing agreed Transformation budgets as per the Business Case and defining & embedding budgetary control processes in line with the Societies overall Change budget processes. The role will work with the Finance Business Partner, Transformation Leadership and the Change Management Office Finance Lead to ensure Programme Directors and Senior Leadership can make informed decisions in relation to programme budget spend.

Responsibilities:

- Transformation Budget and Business Case Costs (manage the budget process for transformation)

- Purchasing & Invoice process

-  Governance

-  Own, manage and develop the programme Reporting

- Leading Financial Process

- Working with PMs on how to complete timesheets, project trackers, budgets, forecasts, analyse actuals, prepare accruals

- Own the business case /budget model

- Allocate and track vacancies from BC/Budget

- Challenge cost spend

- Pprepare financial information to support CITO management team (boards/steerco)

Our Ideal Candidate:

Experience in overseeing multimillion-pound business cases and programmes spanning multiple years.

Previous experience in a similar role within a Change and Programme delivery environment, with the ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of budget management on a large multimillion pound Transformation programme.

Previous experience setting up and embedding finance processes and procedures and managing governance, risk and resource management processes

Advanced MS Excel experience necessary. Prior experience using Power Query and VBA preferential.   

Professional qualification from a member of the CCAB (Chartered Certified Accountancy Bodies) for example, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and ICAS)
