Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive weekly audits of store transactions, ensuring meticulous accuracy in financial reporting.
- Reconcile daily store sales with various payment methods including cash, cards, and vouchers, pinpointing and investigating any discrepancies.
- Efficiently manage credit card charge-backs by gathering necessary documentation and responding promptly within set deadlines.
- Maintain and process manual credit card slips, ensuring timely remittance for payment.
- Proactively prepare for new store launches by coordinating the procurement and setup of required data and equipment.
- Distribute essential documentation and supplies to stores, ensuring smooth operational flow.
- Oversee and update store information related to financial operations such as floats and gift cards.
- Execute financial postings and reconcile accounts to maintain fiscal integrity.
- Perform additional finance-related administrative duties as needed.
- Ability to adapt and work flexibly within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet critical deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing precise and accurate work.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information in both written and verbal forms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with a knack for quickly learning new software.
