  • Assist in producing monthly management accounts within the agreed timetable, focusing on specific cost lines in retail profit and loss accounts.
  • Analyse variances to budgets and prior years, providing key insights.
  • Support and respond to queries from store managers, area managers, and senior leaders, including Retail and Finance Directors.
  • Prepare information for Finance Review meetings, attend discussions, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
  • Post monthly journals and reconcile control accounts, making corrections as needed.
  • Contribute to budget and forecast preparation for specific cost lines.

  • A natural aptitude for using software tools, including spreadsheets, database applications, and budget management systems.
  • Strong team player with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
