We are currently looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join our Customer Service team based in Longtown.

We are looking for well organised individual/s who will work within the customer service team to ensure all relevant tasks are completed and provide first class customer service to our customers.

The full-time role will involve working 40 hours per week, and we are also actively looking for applications to work on a part time and/or weekend working basis.

Responsibilities

  • Inputting data accurately, providing reports as appropriate
  • Manipulating data and ensuring that accurate data is sent to customers within required timescales every day
  • Invoicing
  • Answering the telephone in a polite professional manner
  • Reception duties
  • Dealing with customer queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaising with internal and external personnel as required
  • Developing and building strong customer relations
  • General administration duties including emailing, scanning, etc
  • Supporting Wm Armstrong departments as needed and within remit of role

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience preferred
  • Familiarity with transport operation's preferred
  • Experience and confidence of working with Excel
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, including computer-based systems, including Microsoft products.
  • Confident & professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work unsupervised, as part of a team, and be able to use your own initiative
  • Confident, outgoing personality with a can do attitude
  • Must have first class attention to detail

The Customer Service Administrator must have a flexible approach to work demands and need to be an effective communicator with great organisational skills, being able to stay calm under pressure, thriving in a busy and fast-paced environment.
