The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, 0400am onwards starts
Pay Rate: Days - 拢13.36 per hour rising to 拢14.11 per hour after 12 weeks.
Location: Carlisle, CA6

The role:
路 Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance
路 Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
. Some deliveries/ returns from addresses
路 Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
路 Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
路 Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
路 Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
路 Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
路 No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
路 Full understanding of WTD legislation.
路 Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
路 Excellent communication skills.
路 A safety-first mindset.
