The Recruitment Crowd is seeking dedicated van drivers for a well-known client in the Carlisle area.
The position offers a pay rate of £11.44 per hour PAYE and requires candidates to have at least 1 year of proven van driving experience.
The role involves courier work across England and Scotland, with 60-100 stops per day and a focus on timely deliveries.
Candidates must possess a valid UK driver's license with no more than 6 points for minor offences, along with strong communication skills.
This is a temp-to-perm position with the potential for employed or self-employed opportunities.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team.

Hours:Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. 9am starts (8-10 hour shifts).

Pay Rate:£12.50 per hour PAYE.

Location:Carlisle, CA6.

Job Type:Temp to perm with employed or self-employed opportunities.

The role:

Specialising in courier work across England and Scotland.

Upon successful completion of the probation period, the position will transition to a set rota schedule.

Perform 60-100 stops per day, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and collections.

Utilise electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems to manage deliveries.

Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Manage time efficiently to ensure all deliveries are completed within the scheduled hours.

Requirements:

A valid UK driver's license with 1-year proven van experience.

Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.
