As the Recruitment and Training Manager you will be reporting into the site Supply Chain Manager, ensuring customer demand, labour and training are kept in balance in the short, medium and long term.
The role is multi-faceted, and you must be able to manage both analytically and practically, at a site level.?
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Ensure the sitehas the right labour to meet budgeted volumes
- Implement a process for reviewing labour establishment
- Manage the Overtime spend vs agreed budget
- Providing daily and weekly labour reconciliation
- Develop a Labour Management system and process
- Support training plans to mitigate any skills issues and deliver ongoing training plans to meet budgeted volumes
- Produce a process plan that minimises overtime and mitigates idle time
- Manage the relationship with the Agency providers
- Agree holiday group sizes & communications
- Manage 3 direct reports, coaching and providing development opportunities within your team with 1-2-1s
What are we looking for?
Essential
- Experience in a FMCG company, preferably within a manufacturing environment, or a Recruitment Agency background with experience of recruiting within the manufacturing sector
- Proven track record of engaging with key stakeholders at all levels
- Highly analytical
- Business/Commercial awareness and understanding of the business drivers and factors that impact on related KPI's
- Food manufacturing experience
- Experience of developing or implementing labour planning models
