A leading engineering company in Cumbria is looking for an Electronic Design Engineer on a 3-6 month contract to support new project development.

Job role:

Design and develop electronic circuits for intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe systems.
Circuit design, prototyping, and verification testing.
Create schematics and ensure compliance with EMC and safety standards.
Review PCB layouts and assist in firmware development (Embedded C/C++ beneficial)

Required Skills:

Analogue & digital circuit design expertise.

Altium license.

Experience with EMC, functional safety, and op-amp circuits.

Knowledge of SPI, UART, I2C, and SMPS is an advantage.
