Salary: 11.90 p/h
Hours: Full-Time (Monday - Friday)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well establishedbusiness that is looking to appoint an experienced Maintenence Member to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled person to contribute to the upkeep and improvement of their facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure optimal functioning
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues
- Handle minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
- Infrastructure i.e. drains, civils and other general repairs and maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and management
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to the maintenance manager
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools
- Assist with landscaping, emptying of bins and collections of litter
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification is a plus
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of joinery, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
