Randstad is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join the Acute Mental Health Service at the CNTW NHS Foundation Trust. This is a critical role, and we are actively seeking exceptional individuals. Make a tangible difference in the lives of others; we need your expertise immediately.

Work Location:

Carleton Clinic hospital, Carlisle CA1 3SX

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate patient records.
  • Assist with medication administration (as directed by qualified personnel).
  • Adhere strictly to Trust policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (minimum 5 A*-C grades, including Maths and English).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health issues and appropriate interventions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality care.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Care Certificate
  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience as an HCA

Essential: BCG, MMR, and Hepatitis B vaccinations are required.
