Your new company

Our client is a rapidly expanding private equity-backed business with ambitious growth plans. The organisation benefits from experienced Directors within their field, which creates a unique culture within the business. We are assisting with the appointment of a talented Commercial Senior HR Manager to join their head office based in Carlisle. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the HR function and executing the people strategy.

Your new role

As the Senior HR Manager, you will oversee both the operational and strategic aspects of HR. Your responsibilities will include recruitment, employee engagement, employee relations, and leading HR projects. You will also partner with key stakeholders, including the Senior Management Team (SMT). Your role will be crucial in understanding people challenges and changes, enhancing engagement, and driving the culture agenda. Additionally, you will have direct line management of an HR Advisor and an Internal Recruiter.

What you will need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, with a focus on both operational and strategic HR
  • Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to partner with key stakeholders
  • Experience in driving culture initiatives and promoting a positive working environment
  • Familiarity with M&A activity and HR integration

  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Full time permanent role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9 - 5pm
