About the Role
Our Carlisle site is within our prestigious meals solutions division where you will be ensuring all resources are available that the production team require.
As a Production Planner you will be planning for multiple production lines, and play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer orders each morning
- Manually work through Excel spreadsheets to integrate orders into our SAP system, determining batch and line assignments
- Feed plans back into SAP to verify ingredient availability and other requirements
- Create and communicate daily production plans to shift managers
About You
You are a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, ensuring a clear production plan.
Key Skills/Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and schedule creation.
- Familiarity with SAP is desirable.
- Ability to handle and organise large sets of data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with shift managers and other team members
- Capable of explaining plans clearly and effectively
