HR Business Partner - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Carlisle, Circa £45,500

Foxgroves are working exclusively with a leading business to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to join their busy HR team in Carlisle for a 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment, providing strategic HR support and partnering with leaders to drive business success.

To excel in this role, you'll need a proven track record as an HR generalist, ideally with experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your exceptional communication and influencing skills will help you build strong partnerships across the organisation.

This is a fully site based role and would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy HR team in an office environment. The client offers free onsite parking and is situated in an easy to reach location in Carlisle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers and senior leaders to develop and influence strategic people plans that align with business objectives

  • Lead transformation and change initiatives across the business

  • Provide expert HR guidance on performance management, employee relations, and staff development

  • Analyse people-related data to deliver insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Support wellbeing and engagement initiatives while maintaining high HR service standards

  • Coach and mentor the HR Advisor team on complex employee relations cases

  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and service delivery

What You'll Bring:

  • CIPD qualification (or working towards)

  • Significant generalist HR experience with strong employment relations background

  • Expert knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practices

  • Excellence in stakeholder management and communication

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience in a fast-paced organisation preferred

  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office suite
