My client is a facilities management business based in Carlisle. Due to a restructure of the team they are recruiting this role initially on a temporary basis to fill the position quickly, but this could well go permanent for the right candidate. As a Payroll Officer you will be responsible for the end to end payroll process for a high volume of employees. This will include processing starters and leavers, inputting key payroll information, running the payroll on a weekly and monthly basis dependant on the frequency of how specific employees are paid, dealing with queries and completing manual calculations. This role will suit a candidate who has experience in an end to end payroll position having done this for high volumes of employees. The hourly rate on offer is paying up to £16.50 dependant on experience with the opportunity to work from home as well as the office.
