Pinnacle's client has a position for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge?

The position is for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team for aprestigious Substation contract.

Duties

- Managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.
- Ensuring projects are completed within the projected budget.
- Providing financial and commercial advice to the project team.
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.

Person Specification

- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction or engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, tender processes, and cost control mechanisms.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential
