Your new companyOur client is a well-established, accredited family-run business associated with the construction industry. They have a strong reputation locally, having been in business since the 1980's. They have a strong presence in Cumbria and are involved with exciting contracts. They have a vacancy for a Finance Assistant to join their small and friendly team on a full-time basis.Your new roleAs Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for accurate and timely transactional processing and preparing payroll for their 32 employees.Typical duties include:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices, matching and coding and arranging payments
- Raising credit notes
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll (32 employees) including payroll journals
- Balancing petty cash and reconciling company credit cards
- Preparing tenders and quotations, MS Word / Excel
- Arranging training and other adhoc administrative duties
