Store Manager
Our client is a leading fashion discount outlet with over 22 stores across the South of the UK and over 50 years of history. They specialise in selling surplus discounted fashion, footwear, and home products from one of the UK’s top high street brands.
Due to the opening of a brand-new store in Dalston, they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead their team! If you have a passion for fashion retail and a knack for leadership, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
- Maintaining budgets and staff rotas
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Managing store stockrooms, ensuring effective replenishment and stock control
- Ensure the store’s visual presentations and merchandising meets company standards
- Liaising with peers and Head Office departments
- Ensuring that store housekeeping standards are continually maintained
Ideal candidates will need:
- To be able to demonstrate excellent management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive and a driven team player
- Focused, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- A passion for retail & delivering great service!
Applicants for Store Manager are required to have previous fashion retail experience at management level.
The role will be working 39 hours over 5 days per week, with the following shift pattern:
- Monday 8.30am to 3.00 pm
- Tuesday Day Off
- Wednesday 8.30 am - 6.00 pm
- Thursday 8.30am to 3.00 pm
- Friday 8.30am - 6.00 pm
- Saturday 8.30am - 6.00pm
- Sunday Day Off
Salary £30,075 per annum. Plus the potential for a monthly performance related bonus. Employees also benefit from a company life assurance scheme and generous staff discount.
