We are delighted to partner with an award-winning Consultancy in Carlisle to appoint a Health and Safety Consultant. My client is looking for a competent Health and Safety professional to support clients from Dumfries to Carlisle to Lancaster.

You will be required to meet with clients in the mornings and afternoons throughout the working week to provide competent Health and Safety advice and guidance.

The salary is up to £42,000 per annum + car allowance or a company vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide competent Health and Safety advice and guidance to clients across a variety of sectors
  • Write Health and Safety policies, support the implementation of management systems and investigate accidents
  • Carry out multiple client visits during the week and build strong relationships with your clients
  • Conduct risk assessments/audits and ensure Health and Safety best practice is followed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or an equivalent level qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be working in a client-facing role
  • Manage time effectively and prioritise your workload
  • Great technical knowledge with the ability to influence and engage
  • Full UK Driving licence
