Fabric Maintenance Operator needed for temp to perm role in the North East performing various maintenance tasks, including mechanical and electrical duties. The position includes both reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities and minor fabric works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting reactive repairs and PPMs in mechanical and electrical systems
- Performing minor fabric maintenance tasks as required
- Participating in out-of-hours on-call rotation every 1 in 6 weeks (Friday 5pm to Friday 8am)
- Documenting maintenance activities and reporting any issues promptly
- Travelling to various sites as necessary, with a vehicle and fuel card provided
Job Requirements:
- CSCS certification
- Experience in labour tasks related to mechanical and electrical systems
- Understanding of building maintenance protocols and minor fabric works
- Flexibility to participate in on-call rotation
