What Youll Be Doing:
Estimating Accurately calculating costs for sheet metal and fabricated components, welding, and assembly.
Quoting & Pricing Preparing competitive quotes for clients in industries like construction, rail, and energy.
Liaising with Clients & Suppliers Understanding project requirements and securing the best materials at the best prices.
Reading Technical Drawings Breaking down complex engineering drawings to ensure precision and accuracy.
Working with Production Teams Making sure estimations align with manufacturing capabilities and deadlines.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
Estimator experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal, or precision engineering.
Strong ability to read & interpret technical drawings.
Knowledge of materials, welding, and fabrication processes.
Experience with estimating software (or a solid understanding of costing methods).
A proactive mindset & great communication skills.
