About the Role:As a Management Accountant, you will be at the heart of the firm’s financial operations, providing critical insights and robust analysis to support the senior leadership team. This role requires exceptional analytical and technical expertise to ensure the firm’s financial strategies align with its ambitious goals. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director to deliver actionable insights, develop comprehensive budgets, and maintain forecast models that shape the firm’s business planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare, analyse, and present detailed monthly management accounts and business performance reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy to inform strategic decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain advanced budget and forecast models, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support senior leadership in achieving the firm’s financial and strategic goals.
  • Business Planning: Assist in preparing comprehensive business plans and projections, working closely with the Finance Director to ensure alignment with long-term strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial practices support operational excellence and drive efficiencies across the firm.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and the firm’s financial policies, contributing to a culture of accountability and transparency.

About You:To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the professional services sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting, with advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive approach, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with senior stakeholders.
