Position: Permanent, full time

Salary: £22,880.00-£25,000.00 per yearI'm seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our clients Digital Bookkeeping team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software.Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in bookkeeping services.
Update and maintain client records through relevant accounting software systems.
Prepare VAT returns, monitor deadlines, and address client queries.
Handle HMRC enquiries and provide accurate reporting.
Conduct bookkeeping preparation for a variety of business entities using both computerised and manual systems.
Support clients in transitioning to Making Tax Digital.
Train new clients on accounting software systems.
Assist with ad hoc project work for clients as needed.
Liaise with clients to address their bookkeeping needs and day-to-day queries.
Enroll clients in new software systems and ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, or Xero.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders within the organisation.
