These schools are dedicated to creating inclusive and engaging learning environments, where every child is given the opportunity to thrive. They are now looking for passionate Classroom Assistants to play a key role in helping children achieve their potential.
The schools are seeking Classroom Assistants with experience in supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN). The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and adaptable, working closely with the classroom teacher to ensure pupils receive the guidance and encouragement they need.
If you have at least 6 months of experience working with children, particularly those with ALN or challenging behaviour, we’d love to hear from you. This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone ready to make a real difference in children’s lives and is expected to last at least the remainder of the academic year.
The successful Classroom Assistant will:
Provide direct support to the classroom teacher and pupils.
Have at least 6 months of experience working with children (voluntary experience considered).
Have experience supporting children with additional learning needs.
Be confident in managing challenging behaviour and fostering a positive environment.
