Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Assistant to join our team. This role involves working with pupils across various key stages, from nursery classes up to Year 6 (KS2). You will be providing 1:1 support to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including Autism and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with ALN, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist in the implementation of personalized learning plans.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging their social and academic growth.
  • Support pupils in developing coping strategies and self-regulation skills.
Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with young children in an educational setting or similar setting
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS (If you do not have then will be required to take new DBS out at 61.30* which will be refunded once completed 10 working shifts)
  • EWC registered or willing to register with EWC for 15
  • Attend an interview via teams meeting or in person
  • Fluent Welsh Speaker (Desirable)
