This will usually be on a1 to 1 basisand will mean you are responsible for looking after and working with the child in a school-based setting.

The rate of pay is85-90 per day Full and Part time shifts available - standard full day is 8:30am - 3:30pm Primary Schools based in Carmarthen

Supporting pupils with ALN (Autism, ADHD, Learning & behaviourdifficulties)
Role Overview:As a full-time Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere, and assisting with classroom management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide individualised support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Help with classroom organisation and maintaining a safe learning environment.
  • Observe and record student progress to inform teachers and parents.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with young children in an educational setting or similar setting
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS (If you do not have then will be required to take new DBS out at 61.30* which will be refunded once completed 10 working shifts)
  • EWC registered or willing to register with EWC for 15
  • Attend an interview via teams meeting or in person
