This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to modernising and upgrading production equipment to maintain high standards of efficiency and reliability.
As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing production processes by integrating PLC systems into the SCADA network, supporting the transition to fully automated systems.
What you'll be doing:
- Upgrading and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Designing, programming, and implementing PLC systems to support process automation.
- Integrating PLC systems into the SCADA network for centralised monitoring and control.
- Diagnosing and resolving automation issues to minimise downtime.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
The experience you'll bring to the team:
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems.
- Ability to work hands-on with machinery and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
