Looking for a proactive and dedicated Quality Manager to oversee the quality assurance and control processes. In this role, you will ensure that their products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while leading a team to implement continuous improvements.

Description

  • Build and optimise quality systems: You will ensure that the quality system meets the highest standards and constantly maintain it to ensure that all processes run efficiently and effectively. You ensure that everything is applied correctly on the shop floor.
  • Quality policy: You translate strategic business objectives into practical and pragmatic action plans. You functionally manage colleagues and help them find the balance in solving daily problems and working on proactive improvements.
  • Process optimisation & product improvement: You will contribute to the continuous improvement of both processes and products, with the aim of further increasing quality and improving efficiency.
  • Legal compliance & certification: You monitor laws and regulations, including requirements from export countries. You translate these into workable solutions and ensure we comply with all necessary certifications.
  • Daily operational monitoring & troubleshooting: You will oversee daily quality issues and quickly resolve problems that arise in the production environment. This can range from quality issues with raw materials to product complaints.
  • Complaint management & implement improvements: You track product complaints, analyse causes and implement corrective actions. You ensure that we continuously work on product and process improvement

Profile

Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality management role within the food industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 9001).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality products with a focus on continuous improvement.
