Service Care Solutions is working alongside a community-centred local authority, based in South-West Wales, which needs a passionate paralegal to join their Social Care and Education. This role will put you at the forefront of protecting vulnerable children and families.

This role can be done on a hybrid basis and pays £17- £19ph umbrella. This is a three-month rolling contract.

Key responsibilities of the paralegal role:

  • Redacting documents and preparing court evidence bundles under the supervision of child protection solicitors
  • Attend court hearings with counsel in child protection cases
  • Work under pressure and provide the best possible service to the council and its constituents

Essential skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a legal or social care setting
  • Familiarity with child protection laws and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Social Work, or related field
