We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1-2-1 support to a Year 6 pupil at a local school. This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with ESBA. The position requires a compassionate individual who can build a lasting relationship with the pupil to boost their confidence and attendance.

Day-to-day of the role:

Provide consistent 1-2-1 support to a Year 6 pupil, focusing on academic and emotional assistance.
Work part-time over 5 days with varying hours:
- Monday and Tuesday: 09:00 – 12:00
- Wednesday and Thursday: 12:30 – 15:30
- Friday: 09:00 – 15:30
Engage with the pupil to enhance learning and participation without any behavioural management issues.
Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure the pupil's educational and personal needs are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND.
Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students.
Patience, understanding, and a genuine interest in helping children achieve their potential.
Preferred: Experience or knowledge in dealing with ESBA and other learning difficulties.
