Job Description

Are you an experienced engineer skilled in ensuring high reliability, maintainability, and testability (RMT) for complex systems? Join an international team working on the design and support of advanced combat air platforms. This role offers the chance to apply your expertise to influence and support next-generation systems, from design to operational phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reliability and Maintainability Analysis: Conduct RMT analysis to optimize system design for ease of maintenance and long-term performance within operational requirements.
  • Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with engineering and project teams to enhance RMT capabilities, processes, and tools for a major next-generation program.
  • Team Representation: Represent the Supportability Engineering team at technical reviews, integration activities, and project planning events.
  • Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to junior engineers in RMT methodologies and processes.
  • Cross-Discipline Alignment: Ensure alignment between RMT engineering, safety standards, and human factors in all reliability analysis activities.
Skills and Experience:
  • Education: Degree or proven experience in a relevant engineering field.
  • RMT Knowledge: Understanding of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability principles.
  • Practical Experience: Familiarity with tools and techniques like Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), RMT Allocation, and Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM).
  • Standards Compliance: Experience with international and military standards such as ASD/AIA S-Series Specifications, MSG-3, and Def-Stan specifications.
  • Digital Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including MS Office and digital engineering tools.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting engineering teams.
