You'll have a proactive approach with an eye on continuous improvement across the department and be a link between other departments to maintain good lines of communication throughout the entire business. 聽 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer - Manufacturing, Material Technologies 聽 As our Maintenance Engineer, you'll have the responsibility of carrying out various tasks such as: 路 Plan, prioritise, and complete the PPM schedule for the site. 路 Carry out our reactive tasks including fault finding, breakdowns and repairs. 路 Create and maintain records for proactive and reactive work. 路 Manage the spares stock and budget. 路 Arrange and manage service contracts for machinery and equipment. 聽 PERSON SPECIFICATION: Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer - Manufacturing, Material Technologies 聽 As our Maintenance Engineer, you'll be proactive by nature and be able to manage your time to balance your daily and weekly workload. You will either be a qualified engineer or from a time served engineering background. 聽 We are interested in applications from candidates who have: 路 Experience in fault diagnosis and problem solving of both mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment. 路 Awareness of continuous improvement methods and principles. 路 Excellent organisation, communication, and reporting skills. 路 Exposure to equipment such as film coating machinery, vacuums, pneumatic valves, compressors, chillers and lifting equipment as a preference. 路 Experience of COSHH, risk assessments and ISO standards. 聽 THE COMPANY:聽 Part of a global materials technology group.
