Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known social housing organisation based in the South London area who are looking for a highly skilled Head of Pre-Construction Delivery to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Pre-Construction phase of projects, ensuring all activities are planned and executed efficiently.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
  • Manage the procurement process for all project-related items and services.
  • Coordinate with the construction team to ensure project readiness.
  • Implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

Key Knowledge:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Construction/Building Management or Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction/Housing refurbishment sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Pre-Construction phase, including design, procurement, and planning.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry
