If so, please read on. Servol Community Services is an established charity which provides high quality accommodation and support for adults living with mental ill health and complex conditions.

We are looking to create a new team to join our supported living service in the London Borough of Sutton.

  • Hours per week - 22:30 to 08:00 the following day on a four on, four off rota basis. Shifts will include some weekends and bank holidays as per rota pattern.
  • Location of work - SM2 and SM5 in Sutton, Greater London
  • Hourly pay rate - £13.85 (London Living Wage)

As a key member of the Night Concierge team, you will:

  • provide waking cover throughout the night, providing a continuous and effective enhanced housing management intervention and safeguarding to vulnerable tenants of the service.
  • ensure the security of residents and guests on site and keep the building secure.
  • provide support to service users - listening to them when they want to talk & help to diffuse tense situations.
  • keep service user records up to date & accurately record any incidents on an IT system.
  • share concerns and suggestions with the wider team to ensure continuity in service delivery.
  • undertake regular checks on service users.
  • keep the units clean and report any maintenance issues.

Skills/experience/personal qualities required for our Night Concierge vacancy??????:

  • We need someone resilient with a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help people from all walks of life.
  • We need someone who can listen and follow instructions precisely.
  • You'll need to have an acute awareness of our surroundings and what is happening within the service and be able to report any concerns.
