We are a busy claims company based in Carshalton, working for an insurance company who specialises in Hire and Reward. Due to rapid expansion within the DCL Group, we have a vacancy for a claims handler in our FNOL department.

This is a superb opportunity to gain experience within the insurance industry and enhance your career within the financial services sector. Full training will be provided within the role along with the opportunity to gain professional qualifications through the CII.

As a Claims Handler you will be responsible for receiving incoming calls and making outbound calls to customers after an accident. As the first point of contact to our customers it’s essential that you deliver excellent customer service and communicate with customers effectively and professionally. We are looking for candidates who are confident communicators, able use their own initiative and work well within a team environment. To be successful within this role you will be conscientious, reliable and able to work at pace within a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact with customers regarding FNOL claims calls
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills when gathering information
  • Professional attitude, ability to engage with clients and empathetic manner
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment diligently and accurately
  • Demonstrating the fair treatment of customers during all customer contact
