Job Title: English Teacher - CR3
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an English Teacher to join an independent SEN school in the Whyteleafe area (Surrey), who specialise in supporting children and young people (7 - 18 years old) with Autism, Learning Difficulties, Social/Emotional/Mental Health, Communication, PTSD and Anxiety and additional needs.
The typical class size is between 6 - 10 and the students will be working at the national curriculum average (with adjustments for individual learning levels). The position is either full-time long-term or permanent, starting immediately (following successful interview/trial).
Due to the location, this role will ideally suit someone with their own transport.
Daily Rate: Paid to scale
Salary: M1 - UPS1
Location: Whyteleafe, Surrey (South London)
Contract Type: Long Term, Temp to Perm or Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
The successful applicants will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (degree in teaching subject)
Recent experience of teaching from KS3 to KS5 (relevant subject)
Knowledge of the National Curriculum for GCSE and A-Level as well as exam specifications.
Good communication skills written and verbal.
Good organisational skills.
Good behaviour management skills.
