Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an Maths Teacher to join an independent SEN school in the Whyteleafe area (Surrey), who specialise in supporting children and young people (7 - 18 years old) with Autism, Learning Difficulties, Social/Emotional/Mental Health, Communication, PTSD and Anxiety and additional needs
The Role:
Teaching KS2, KS3 & KS4 Maths
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love for Maths and Problem Solving
Providing tailored support to students of all abilities
Working as part of a close-knit and dedicated team
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- UK Classroom Experience
- Previous SEN Experience
- Ability to plan and deliver high quality, engaging lessons
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with staff, parents and students
- Up to date safeguarding certificate issues within the last yearAn Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update service.
Eligibility:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
- Two professional child-related references
