To ensure all aspects of hangar operations and maintenance support activities are completed efficiently and effectively, enabling aircraft maintenance teams to perform optimally while maintaining compliance with company procedures. This includes coordinating and managing the logistical holding area, in use tooling and associated equipment required to carry out maintenance.

Responsibilities

To support the HO Maintenance Services under the Support Maintenance Manager control to ensure the successful daily delivery of tasks at RAF Brize Norton. This includes:

  • Delivery of aircraft material and supporting items to/from hub to hangar (Driving Licence Essential/Fork Lift License Desirable)
  • Managing the input, control, and return of aircraft materials, including conducting quality checks on all associated paperwork
  • Assurance that all maintenance equipment and accessories are correctly positioned within maintenance areas under a Sigma process
  • Coordinate consumable and expendable material within the maintenance area
  • Work closely with maintenance leadership team to ensure correct husbandry and standards of aircraft hangar
