Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of listed building projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing the restoration and conservation of historic buildings, ensuring high-quality delivery while adhering to strict regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards.
  • Oversee listed building restoration projects, ensuring compliance with planning permissions and conservation guidelines.
  • Manage and coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and safe work practices.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance on-site, conducting risk assessments and promoting a safe work environment.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with listed building restoration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of heritage conservation guidelines and listed building regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid are desirable.
