The School and Role

We are looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher to work in a friendly primary school in the Durham, DH6. Working as part of an established team, the desired Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher will be teaching in Year 6. The teacher would be working with a group of 6 – 8 children who have SEMH needs and are working at a lower ability.  The role would be Monday to Friday, full time, with possibility to go permanent with the school. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.

Requirements

The desired Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher will have;

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS within the UK
