Sonic Summary
- We are a family-run business looking for Saturday Forecourt Attendants at our busy petrol station in Castle Cary.
- Ideal candidates should be customer-focused with excellent communication and numerical skills, and must be over 18 years old due to the sale of age-restricted products.
- Full on-site training will be provided to assist with duties such as handling cash and card payments, maintaining shop cleanliness, and checking food dates.
- Candidates are expected to have a smart appearance and be able to interact positively with the public and staff.
- This position offers a competitive salary, and while specific experience is not required, a customer service background would be beneficial.
Duties will include but not limited to:
Start and end of shift routines. Handling cash and card payments from customers for fuel and shop goods. Processing payments from workshop customers. Keeping the shop well stocked and clean at all times. Cleaning and stocking the coffee machine. Date checking fresh food as well as other duties related to the day to day running of the forecourt and shop.
Whilst this may not be a full and exhaustive list of duties we may request similar tasks relating to the role of a sales assistant, to be carried out from time to time.
Due to lone working and the sale of age restricted products, applicants must be over the age of 18.
